General Terms

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which Farehutz.us (operated by TGS Ventures Private Limited) processes cancellations along with changes and refund requests for travel services booked through our website, mobile platforms, or customer support team.

You agree to the following terms in addition to the terms and conditions of the applicable airline along with hotel, tour operator or other travel service provider (collectively, “Travel Service Providers”) by confirming a booking with Farehutz.us.

Role of Farehutz.us

Farehutz.us acts solely as an intermediary between you and the Travel Service Provider. While we facilitate the booking process, all cancellation and refund decisions are ultimately governed by the policies of the Travel Service Provider(s) associated with your booking.

We do not control and are not responsible for the timelines or decisions of Travel Service Providers Regarding the Refund process, this might take up to 3 billing cycles depending upon the service provider to reflect in your bank statement.

Farehutz.us is not responsible for:

  • Delays in processing refunds caused by Travel Service Providers.
  • Partial refunds or non-refundable amounts are based on the fare rules.
  • Any direct/indirect or consequential losses due to cancellation or schedule changes.

Airline & Travel Service Provider Policies

  • All bookings are subject to the fare rules and terms of the Travel Service Provider at the time of purchase.
  • Many airfares, including promotional or discounted fares are non-refundable and may have strict restrictions regarding the change and cancellation.
  • Any applicable airline change along with cancellation or refund fees, is determined solely by the airline and is payable by you.
  • If a booking involves multiple airlines, each airline’s individual policies will apply independently.
  • Hotels along with car rental agencies and activity providers, may impose their own cancellation deadlines and penalties.

Service Fees

In addition to fees charged by Travel Service Providers, Farehutz.us may apply a non-refundable service fee for processing cancellations, changes, or refund requests. This fee covers administrative handling and is separate from provider-imposed charges.

All service fees will be disclosed to you at the time of request.

Refund Eligibility

A refund request may be submitted if:

  • The fare rules of your booking permit cancellations with a refund.
  • You meet the cancellation deadline as specified by the Travel Service Provider.
  • You have complied with all other applicable terms and requirements.

Please note:

  • Refund amounts are calculated according to the fare rules in effect at the time of booking.
  • Some tickets may only be refundable in the form of future travel credits.
  • Taxes and government-imposed fees may be refundable in certain cases, even for non-refundable tickets.

Refund Processing Timeline

Once Farehutz.us submits your refund request to the relevant Travel Service Provider, processing times may vary.

  • Airlines may take 8 to 12 weeks or longer to process refunds.
  • Hotels along with tour operators and car rental agencies, may process refunds faster, typically within 7–30 business days.

Farehutz.us will update you on the status of your refund upon receiving confirmation from the provider. We cannot expedite refunds beyond the provider’s processing capacity.

Cancellations by Airlines or Service Providers

If your flight, hotel, or service is cancelled by the Travel Service Provider, your refund or alternative travel options will be determined according to that provider’s policies. In such cases, Farehutz.us will assist you in submitting any necessary claims but is not responsible for the provider’s decision.

Policy on No-Shows

Failure to check in or appear for a booked flight will result in the loss of the full booking amount. No refunds will be issued for no-shows for all the Travel Service Provider’s.

How to Request a cancellation or Refund

You may submit a cancellation or refund request by:

  • Emailing support@farehutz.us with your booking reference number along with your full name and trip details; or
  • Call our customer service team at the number provided on your booking confirmation.

We will only process requests made from the email address used to make the booking. For security purposes, we may require identity verification before processing. We may require identity verification before processing.
