Please do pay attention:
- Refund of all cancellation should be made within 24 hours of flight booking. In case of an urgent refund request, you should contact your bank and get your authorized code released.
- In case cancellations is made directly from the airlines, then it must be informed to the Farehutz and an amount will be equal to the base fare, excluding the service fee and taxes, and the amount will be refunded by our end.
- Fares are not guaranteed until booked and may change at any time without any prior notice.
- If in case, the fare booked is not available anymore, then you will be provided with alternate options. You have all the rights to cancel the booking without any cost charged against it or can select the updated option at the currently available rates.
- In case the payment is been charged, the ticket(s) will be emailed to you within 4 hours of realization of the full payment.
- If in case your credit card gets a decline, then the customer will be informed at the same time through email or over the phone. In such cases, it is the customer's sole responsibility to get in touch with the bank and make sure that a sufficient balance is available on the card for the issuance of the flight ticket.
- Additional charges are always applied for using multiple cards.
- Name of the passenger is not permitted. If there is an error in the booking or in the ticket, the customer should report on the same day.
- Changes and the cancellation are highly dependent on the airline penalties, whereas some tickets, being non-refundable, may be reused later than per the fare guidelines by the Airline. Partially used tickets and 'NO Show' tickets are completely non-refundable. In the case of 'NO Show', the entire ticket amount will be forfeiture by the airline.
- Refund time limit may vary from airline to airline. Usually, we suggest our customers claim within 10-12 weeks for the refund amount to update in their account. Refund is initiated in the original form of payment.
- Airline tickets are valid for one year from the date of issuance. There is always a time limit to every flight ticket in which the travel should be completed but in some cases, the validity may not be possible due to various rate restrictions. If you need more detailed information about the same, please contact the respective airlines.
- With the "Domestic" we allow any travel within the 50 United States and with the "International" we allow all travel except the domestic travel. Check-in time for domestic travel is 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight and for International Travel is 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight.
- Infant is considered as a traveler who is less than 24 months in terms of age, else child fares are applicable.
- Unaccompanied policy differs from Airline to Airline. Kindly confirm before making a new reservation if there is an unaccompanied minor is travelling can call our toll-free number
- Kindly assure that you appear at the correct airline counter if in case the flight is operated by a code share partner.
- It is the customer's sole responsibility that all the details for the travel documents are correct and in case of any errors or discrepancies, bring it to our notice immediately. Please obtain a VISA prior to your scheduled departure date. Farehutz doesn't arrange for visas. Please assure to get a VISA for the country you are travelling to and the countries in transit (if applicable). For detailed information on Visa. Kindly speak with the airline respective.
- Farehutz don't take any responsibility for any airline cancellations, reschedules, or delays of a flight for any reason. For all the reservations booked through us, and we will try to assist in providing new arrangements. After check-in, you have to work directly with the airline to reach the specific destination or to make any alternate arrangements, including the amendments to the return services. Airline fees often apply for modifications to the scheduled air not related to airline flight cancellations, delays reschedule. These fees are payable to the airline directly at the time of the claim.
Cancel and Exchange
- More of the fight tickets available on Farehutz 100% non-refundable. However, in few cases the airline does permit flight cancellations, your refund may be credited for the future purchase of a flight ticket and with the same airline. This credit amount initiated by the airline comes with an expiration date as well, and we do suggest you check with the concerned airline for additional restrictions related to the same. In cases where booking cancellation is allowed, you must place your cancellation request with our customer support service prior to the scheduled departure of the flight at a time. At the same time, we do not guarantee any booking cancellation of the flight tickets. You can plan to initiate a new booking by redeeming your airline credit points, where you have to pay the required fare difference (if any), in some case Farehutz post-ticketing fees and airline penalties are applicable. These changes are applied as per the fare rules and policies of the specific airlines and are outside the scope of our terms for use.
- We don't make any additional representation for our exchange fees, except our agents guides you while you search for the new flights and re-booking your travel based upon the flight availability and on the other factors.
CANCEL AND REFUND
More of our flight tickets, prepaid car rentals, holiday packages, service, hotels and fee is refundable, one's you placed your cancellation request that too within 24 hours from the scheduled departure. Apart from all, your trip protection insurance will be refunded within ten days from the date of purchase if you have not done your journey and have intimated our customer service executive about flight cancellation. You can place your cancellation request only over the phone itself. We will be happy to accept the same and process all the refund requests only by the fulfillment of the following conditions:
- If you have not placed a request for booking cancellation and refund and the fare rules of the specified airline allow such cancellation and refund process
- If a "no show" has not been marked against your booking (in some cases, a "no show" renders your booking ineligible for any waiver for refund process from the suppliers' end); and
- Where we secure the waivers from the concerned suppliers and process your cancellation request and subsequent refund.
- We don't give any specific time limit for processing your cancellation and the refund request. All such requests will be processed as per the specific format. Once you apply for the cancellation request with our customer executive, we will provide you with an e-mail notification accepting your request for flight booking cancellation. However, this won't automatically enable you for a refund. At the same time, we will provide you with a tracking number that you can use for future reference. Later this, we will take your case with the specific suppliers for generating a waiver based on the rules and regulation for the service provider and simultaneously notify your decision of the respective supplier(s). Service fees charged from our end for your travel booking will be non-refundable.
- We trust the travel suppliers for the cancellation and for the requested refunds. Later the concerned supplier approves your booking refund, this may take some time to initiate the funds to appear on your card statement. It is not uncommon for the suppliers to charge a penalty fee on your booking refund. The entire process might take around 60-90 days from the time of receipt of your refund request. Apart from the penalties as charged from the concerned supplier's end, Farehutz might charge a post-ticketing services fee, where is applicable. Your refund fees will be on the basis of per-passenger, or on the per-ticket booked. When the supplier doesn't process your refund request, then we will refund the post-ticketing service fees which are applicable for your refund request assisted by our agents, but we don't charge the booking fees for your original travel booking.
Cancellation Password: For security purpose, your flight bookings will only be cancelled only over the phone call itself, and not through the web chat or e-mail. When you request Farehutz to cancel your flight booking on your behalf, then our travel agents will provide you with an e-mail that has a unique Cancellation Password to your registered e-mail which you have provided to our agents at the time of your flight booking. Sincerely provide the cancellation password to our travel agents when they ask for it. This is very important to initiate the process in order to complete your cancellation request. If you fail to provide the Cancellation Password, we will not be able to process your cancellation. Also, it is to keep a note that your Cancellation Password gets to expire within three hours of its issuance. You can call our agents in case your Cancellation Password expires before processing your cancellation. In this case, you will be issued with a new Cancellation Password.
CHANGES TO FLIGHTS ALREADY PURCHASED
All changes made to your itinerary are subject to the flight fare rules of the concerned airline. Most of our flights, car-rentals, hotels and packages do not allow any name or date changes after the completion of the flight booking process. Farehutz do not guarantee and won't be responsible for any kind of bookings made or confirmed in cases where your initial itinerary has got changed from the concerned supplier's end pursuant to the supplier's schedule changes
