Prohibited Activities

  • Breach any relevant law or regulation.
  • Reproduce, alter, or distribute Website materials without our approval.

Limitation of Liability

In order to use or access the Farehutz.us website—including its desktop, mobile, and app-based versions—or to book through our site or customer service agents, you consent to the following:

  • Age Requirement – You must be at least 18 years or older.
  • Legal Authority – You possess the legal ability to form binding contracts.
  • Agreement to Terms – You agree to make use of Farehutz.us only according to these Terms & Conditions.
  • Authentic Reservations – You will place only genuine reservations for yourself or for another individual who legally has empowered you to book on their behalf.
  • Acting for Others – While booking on someone else's behalf, you acknowledge that they understand and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
  • Accuracy of Information – Any information supplied by you will be accurate, true, and up to date.
  • Account Security – In creating an account on Farehutz.us, you are only responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all use made under your account.
  • Right to Restrict Access – TGS Ventures Private Limited has the right to refuse access to Farehutz.us or our services to anyone for any reason, including—but not limited to—terms of use violations.

Dispute Resolution, Governing Law, and Arbitration

If you have a complaint or dispute with Farehutz.us, our services, or this Privacy Policy you undertake to first try to resolve it directly with our Customer Care team by calling or emailing support@Farehutz.us We will use our best efforts to resolve the dispute within 90 days. If we cannot do so within the 90-day time frame, the dispute may be referred to binding arbitration as set out below.

Governing Law

These Terms, and any obligation or right of the parties (including any third-party providers), will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA, without giving effect to their conflict of law provisions. Unless otherwise stated clearly, all arbitrable disputes will be held in the exclusive jurisdiction of California.

Arbitration Agreement

Except as prohibited by law, any and all disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of, in connection with, or relating to these Terms, your use of the Farehutz.us website, or any products or services purchased through us, will be determined exclusively by binding arbitration according to the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Arbitration will occur in California unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing.

By accepting these Terms, you give up any right to initiate a lawsuit against us before a judge or jury and you give up involvement in any class action, class arbitration, or consolidated proceeding. The decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding, and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Time Limit for Claims

Except to the extent that longer time may be provided by law, you are required to bring any claim within six (6) months from the date of the corresponding booking or transaction, or it will be waived.

Travel Information - General

Overview

Farehutz.us offers travelers specific travel information related to their travel, such as itineraries, destinations, special offers, flight timetables, and other information regarding the travel when a booking has been confirmed.

Most of this information is provided by third-party travel suppliers like airlines, cruise, tour operators, and other service providers ("Travel Service Providers"). Although we make every reasonable attempt to provide accurate and up-to-date information, Farehutz.us does not comply with the absolute accuracy of the information.

All information is subject to change at short notice, and all services are subject to availability. Farehutz.us is not responsible for delays, changes, or inaccuracies caused by Travel Service Providers.

Responsibilities of the Traveler

It is your responsibility, the traveler, to ensure that you comply with all legal, documentation, and logistical needs for your travel, including but not limited to:

  • Having a valid passport and any necessary visas.
  • Having any necessary travel insurance coverage.
  • Having necessary health, vaccination, or entry certificates.

Farehutz.us is merely an intermediary to help you make bookings through our website, mobile channels, or customer support. The duty for checking entry requirements, travel rules, and having the required documents lies solely with you.

Terms of Service Compliance

You are required to read and be aware of both:

  • us Terms & Conditions; and
  • The terms and conditions of the relevant Travel Service Provider(s).

For airplane reservations, you need to check the airline's terms on their respective website to be sure to comply.

Ticketing and Airfare

  • Airfares are not booked until full payment has been made and the booking confirmed.
  • After payment has been made, tickets are delivered according to airline policies.
  • Airlines can change fares at any time and without notice; such variations are outside of Farehutz.us control.
  • In the event of non-payment by the stated due date, your reservation can be canceled at the discretion of Farehutz.us

If your itinerary involves multiple airlines, you must comply with each airline’s individual policies on cancellations, schedule changes, refunds, and applicable fees. If a disruption with one airline impacts a connecting flight on another carrier, you are responsible for any resulting costs, including new ticket purchases. Airline fees are set solely by the airline and must be paid by you.

You are required to carry proof of your outbound and return travel (such as your confirmation email) throughout your trip. Some airlines may require this documentation at check-in (Airlines Policy).

One-Way Ticket Combinations

Farehutz.us will sometimes feature pairs of two one-way tickets instead of a return ticket to allow for greater flexibility and possible savings. Each one-way segment is booked separately as an individual airline-specific travel product with its own terms and conditions.

If your initial flight change causes your second flight to be missed, you will be responsible for all extra costs, such as change fees or a new ticket purchase. Farehutz.us is not responsible for these expenses.

Currency Conversion and Additional Fees

Certain fares, especially by low-cost airlines, can be quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD) but initially be priced in a different currency. Because exchange rates change, the actual sum charged could be slightly different from the quoted figure.

  • International transaction fees
  • Currency conversion charges will be added by your bank or credit card issuer.

These fees, and any taxes your local laws may charge on purchases made abroad, are set by your institution and the government, and are your responsibility.

Arranging necessary travel insurance

We are strictly an intermediary in enabling you to compare and purchase tickets and bookings with us directly on our website, mobile application or customer service center. You are entirely responsible for checking and adhering to all applicable entry requirements, necessary travel documents, rules and prohibitions.

Terms & Conditions and your chosen Travel Service Providers, particularly with regard to air transport, you should refer directly to the airlines website's own terms of service.

You are the only one responsible to complete all your legal, documentation and administrative needs for your travel. This is one of the things such as:

  • Carrying valid passports and visas
  • Having necessary travel insurance
  • Having other necessary health or vaccination certificates

We encourage everyone to review everything very carefully prior to confirming a booking including Terms and Conditions and the applicable Travel Service Provider(s) terms of use. For air travel especially, check the airline's official terms on their own website to be certain.

Farehutz.us Terms & Conditions - Flights

International Travel

For overseas travel, the rules of the Montreal Convention apply to both the place of departure and destination country. The Convention typically caps the airline's liability for passenger death or bodily injury.

It is your obligation to check that you have all the necessary travel documents to enter a foreign nation. These can range from, but are not limited to:

  • Valid passport
  • Valid visa (business, tourist, or transit)

You will be required to provide these documents at the request of government agencies. Farehutz.us will not be responsible for your inability to meet requirements for entry. You are also obligated to read and adhere to all travel advisories, bans, and announcements made by competent authorities prior to traveling.

Visa and Passport Requirements

We advise checking visa and passport requirements with the applicable embassy or consulate prior to travel.

In case you are refused boarding or entry due to faulty or incomplete travel documents (including transit stops), Farehutz.us is not responsible. Requirements still exist even if you are not leaving the airport for a layover.

Health Requirements

You are accountable for taking all health-related travel requirements, such as vaccinations, medications, and medical procedures required for entry into your destination country. See your doctor and review official health advisories prior to travel.

Disinfection of Aircraft

Airlines can disinfect planes when they feel that there is some possible risk to public or environmental health. Disinfection practices are sanctioned by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and can include:

  • Aerosolized insecticide spraying while passengers are present on the plane.
  • Spraying residual insecticide on aircraft surfaces before boarding.

Safety of International Destinations

When Farehutz.us bookings travel abroad, we don't represent or warrant that travel to such destinations is safe. You risk all travel risks, and Farehutz.us will not be held responsible for any losses or damages suffered as a consequence.

Airline Baggage Policies

Airline baggage allowances, fees, and restrictions are not the same. Although Farehutz.us strives to keep baggage policy information accurate, we cannot ensure accuracy. Always check for baggage policies with your airline directly prior to travel. Baggage fees are not included in ticket prices.

Check-In Requirements

Each airline has varying check-in requirements. We suggest:

  • Domestic flights: Check in at least 90 minutes prior to departure.
  • International flights: Check in at least 3 hours before departure.

Airline Schedule Changes

Airlines have the right to alter schedules because of weather, mechanical problems, crew schedules, or other reasons. These changes might even involve converting from direct flights to connecting flights. Farehutz.us has no control over such changes.

In case the airline cancels or rebooks your flight, we will try to inform you, but we cannot assure any advance notice. It is always best to recheck your flight status with the airline at least 72 hours prior to departure.

After you have checked in for your flight, cancellations, delays, or rebooking are all dealt with directly by the airline.

Overbooking of Flights

Flights are sometimes overbooked. Every airline has its own procedures for denied boarding compensation for overbooking. Find the information directly from your airline.

Pricing

Fares on Farehutz.us are subject to variation until ticketing and a PNR (Passenger Name Record) is issued.

We reserve the right to cancel any booking if full payment is not received within the required timeframe. Improper use of tickets may result in cancellation without refund.

All prices on the Farehutz.us website is shown in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

The currency displayed at checkout is the currency you will be charged in. If you use a card issued outside the United States, your bank may treat the purchase as an international transaction and may apply additional fees or exchange rate differences. Your bank determines the exchange rate and any foreign transaction fees. Please contact your bank for further details.

Service fees apply for support, rebooking, cancellations, and other assistance. Charges may include the base fare, applicable taxes, and our service/support fees.

We accept all major credit and debit cards from the USA, Canada, and many other countries, including billing addresses for AE/AP. Payments are processed securely, and Farehutz.us does not store your credit card details. Your card may be billed in one or multiple charges that together total your booking cost.

If your payment is declined, we will notify you within 24 hours. Non-card payment methods may take longer to process. For your protection, certain transactions may be placed on hold for verification if flagged by our fraud prevention systems. These will only be completed once approved by our payment security team. We may contact you, your bank, or your card issuer to confirm a transaction’s legitimacy before processing.

Cancellations and Refunds

Unless otherwise stated, all bookings are non-refundable. If your fare is refundable, cancellations are subject to an administrative fee, airline penalties, and supplier conditions.

Refunds are only made upon approval from the airline and can take 90 days to post on your payment system. Service charges are not refundable.

Payments and International Transactions

When making a reservation using an international credit card, currency conversion fees or international transaction fees may be charged by your bank. Farehutz.us is not liable for these fees.

Special Requests

Requests for particular seats, meals, or frequent flyer privileges are not confirmed and will be at the discretion of the airline. Always verify directly with the airline.

Unaccompanied Minors

Farehutz.us prohibits traveling unaccompanied minors who are younger than 16 from booking on their own. Minor policies differ between airlines. Call the airline company for information.

Credit Card Chargebacks

You consent to making contact with Farehutz.us prior to filing a chargeback. Filing an unjustified chargeback will lead to cancellation of the booking and recovery of expenses.

Prepaid Reservations & Charges

  • Most reservations are prepaid and charged to your credit/debit card at booking.
  • Prepaid amounts generally cover only the room rate and taxes. Additional charges (resort fees, parking, meals, minibar, cleaning, etc.) are the guest’s responsibility.
  • Some hotels may require a booking voucher at check-in, which will be provided in your confirmation email.

Meals & Meal Plans

Depending on the hotel, meal plans may be offered. Common terms:

  • RO (Room Only): No meals included.
  • B&B (Bed & Breakfast): Breakfast included.
  • HB (Half Board): Breakfast + dinner (or lunch, if substituted).
  • FB (Full Board): Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • AI (All Inclusive): Meals + locally produced beverages, plus some activities.

Cancellations, Changes & Refunds

No-Show Policy

Failure to check in without notifying the hotel will be considered a “no-show.” Hotels may apply penalties or forfeit the full amount paid.

  • In addition to the room rate, hotels may charge taxes, resort fees, and other surcharges. These vary by destination.
  • Farehutz.us charges a non-refundable service fee (up to $35 per reservation depending on hotel category).
  • Taxes and fees retained by Farehutz.us may include compensation for our services.

Pet Policy

Hotel Confirmation

  • Hotels may take up to 24 hours to confirm a booking.
  • A confirmation email with your voucher and booking details will be sent once the hotel verifies the reservation.

Supplier Relationship

Farehutz.us acts only as a booking agent. Hotels and suppliers are independent providers and are solely responsible for their services.

Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use

  • All content on Farehutz.us (website, software, design, etc.) is owned or licensed by us. Copying, distributing, or modifying our content without permission is prohibited.
  • Users may not misuse our site, engage in fraudulent bookings, upload harmful content, or violate applicable laws. Violations may result in termination of access and legal action.

Liability Disclaimer

  • Farehutz.us is not liable for errors, supplier failures, cancellations, delays, overbookings, force majeure events, or events beyond our control.
  • Our maximum liability will not exceed the total amount paid for your booking.
  • Any claim must be submitted within 6 months of the booking date.

Indemnification & Release

By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Farehutz.us, our partners, employees, and suppliers from claims, losses, or damages resulting from your use of our website or bookings.
In disputes between you and a supplier, Farehutz.us is released from liability.

Booking & Payments

Taxes & Fees A 14.5% Value Added Tax (VAT) is applied to all car rentals, in accordance with US regulations. Additional fees, such as surcharges for young drivers or additional drivers, may apply based on your specific rental details. For a full breakdown of charges, please review your booking summary before confirming your reservation.

Cards Accepted We accept all major credit, debit, and prepaid cards, including American Express, Visa, and Mastercard.

Credit Card Policy You must present the same credit or debit card used for your online payment at the time of vehicle pickup. If the original card is lost, stolen, or replaced, you will need to re-process your booking and payment at the counter.

Cash Rental Deposit A deposit may be required at the time of pickup, depending on the car category you have chosen. All details regarding deposits will be provided during the booking process.

Drivers & Requirements

Age Restrictions

  • The minimum age to rent a car is 19.
  • Drivers under 25 may be subject to a young driver surcharge.
  • For rentals originating in Maui, Newark, and Vernal, the minimum age to rent is 21.

Driving License All drivers must present a valid driver’s license at pickup. The license must be valid for at least one year from the rental date. International renters must also provide an International Driving Permit and a valid passport.

International Renters If your primary residence is outside the United States, you are considered an international renter. At pickup, you must provide:

  • A valid driver’s license from your country of origin.
  • A valid passport that matches the name on your driver's license.
  • A valid contact number for use during your rental period.

Additional Drivers Additional drivers can be added to your rental agreement with the consent of the primary renter. The primary renter is solely responsible for any damages or issues that arise. An additional charge may apply for each extra driver.

Vehicles & Availability

Vehicle Display & Availability The vehicles displayed on our website represent the car class available for rent. We cannot guarantee a specific vehicle model, make, or color, as our fleet varies by location, date, and availability.

Optional Products You can add or remove optional products, such as insurance coverage, car seats, or a GPS, during the booking process. Availability may vary by car category and location.

Child Safety Seats For your child’s safety, state laws require children to be secured in an appropriate car seat.

  • California: Children eight years or younger and weighing less than 80 pounds must use a child restraint device.
  • Arizona: Children under five must be secured with a child-safety seat.
  • Please check your local state and city laws for specific requirements.

Child safety seats are not available for rentals from Vernal, Utah. Farehutz.us is not responsible for any issues that may arise from failure to comply with child safety laws.

Cancellation & Modifications

Cancellations Unless otherwise stated in your booking details, all payments for car rental fees, taxes, and surcharges are non-refundable. If you cancel your booking, you will lose the full amount paid.

Modifications Farehutz.us car rental bookings cannot be modified. If you need to change your pickup/drop-off dates or location, you must cancel your existing reservation and rebook at the current rental rates.

Travel & Geographic Restrictions

Geographic Restrictions Most rentals have travel restrictions based on their pickup location.

  • Florida: Rentals are limited to intra-state travel (within the state of Florida).
  • Texas: Rentals are permitted in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
  • Illinois: Rentals are permitted in Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, and Kentucky.
  • California: Rentals can be driven into Canada. A passport is required.
  • Vernal, Utah: Rentals are limited to the state of Utah unless prior consent is obtained. Travel outside of Utah is limited to 300 miles per day, with an additional charge of $0.25 per mile thereafter.
  • Washington: Rentals are permitted to drive into British Columbia and Canada only.

One-Way Rentals One-way rentals are available at specific locations and may be subject to a drop-off fee. For example, a drop-off charge applies for one-way rentals from Newark to JFK Airport. Availability may vary, so please inquire with our booking representative about all applicable charges and availability.

Mexico Insurance Farehutz.us car rentals can be driven into Mexico only if Mexico Insurance is purchased. This insurance is only valid for travel into Mexican cities nearest to the California and Arizona borders.

  • The minimum coverage is 24 hours, with rates starting at $31.00 plus tax.
  • Rentals from Maui, Newark, and Vernal are not permitted to enter Mexico, even with Mexico Insurance.
  • All other cars are prohibited from entering Mexico.

Important: Please be aware that your rental is also subject to the individual policies of the car rental vendor and all other Farehutz.us Terms & Conditions.

Farehutz.us Terms & Conditions - Cruise

Thank you for booking your cruise with Farehutz.us. Please read these terms and conditions carefully, as they contain important information about your reservation. By booking a cruise through Farehutz.us, you agree to these policies, which are also subject to the individual cruise line's terms and conditions.

Pricing & Payments

  • Pricing: All prices are per person in U.S. Dollars ($), based on double occupancy, unless otherwise stated. Prices do not include airfare, government fees, taxes, or port charges.
  • Processing Fee: A non-refundable $35 processing fee per booking is charged by Farehutz.us and is separate from the cruise fare.
  • Fuel Surcharge: Cruise lines reserve the right to add a fuel surcharge, which is not included in the listed price. This surcharge must be paid before departure.
  • Special Rates: Passengers booked under a special rate may be required to show government-issued identification (e.g., passport, driver's license, or birth certificate) at boarding to verify their age or residency.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance of your cruise fare must be paid by the due date specified in your reservation confirmation email. Failure to pay on time may result in late payment penalties or the cancellation of your reservation.

Offers & Promotions

  • Availability: All offers, including upgrades and promotions, are subject to availability and can be withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
  • Promotions: A coupon code or promotion is generally only applicable to the $35 Farehutz.us service fee unless otherwise specified. Promotions may be limited to specific dates, ships, itineraries, or stateroom types.
  • Upgrades: Upgrades are subject to capacity restrictions and cannot be combined with group pricing or other promotions.

Passenger Information

  • Required Information: You are responsible for ensuring all passenger names and details (first, middle, and last name) on your booking exactly match the name on your passport or official government-issued ID.
  • Name Changes: Farehutz.us and the cruise line may charge a fee for any modifications to passenger details after the booking is confirmed. Contact us immediately if you discover any errors.

Cancellations & Refunds

To modify or cancel your reservation, you must contact Farehutz.us directly, not the cruise supplier. Once your journey has started, no modifications will be accepted.

  • Passenger & Itinerary Rules: Once a booking is confirmed, the names and number of passengers on the reservation cannot be changed. All passengers on a reservation must travel on the same itinerary. You are also unable to transfer or amend the names or destinations on a booking once it has been made.
